This is the best dental experience I have ever had - I am a very nervous patient but the dentist Michael made me feel totally comfortable and I didn’t even feel the injection and then watched the tv on the ceiling ! Everyone seemed to arrive and be warmly greeted in reception so I would think this is a very popular dentist and I feel fortunate to have found them .

I am very thankful to Thompson Dental for seeing me last minute today due to tooth pain. Dr Thompson is very patient and helpful, and I would go as far as saying that he is the best dentist I have ever had. Karen the hygienist is also wonderful, she is gentle and makes me feel at ease. I always recommend this practice to friends and family.

WOW! Where to start.... As someone who was afraid of visiting my dentist, I am really glad I visited Thompson Dental. Michael made me feel so relaxed and the procedure went so smooth. Next I visited Karen the Hygienist who did an amazing job and explained everything I need to know about my teeth and how to look after them. I highly recommend Thompson Dental for their fantastic all round service!

Superb experience from the beginning to the end. Firstly I needed a mouth guard to stop night grinding & it made a huge difference. From that experience I felt confident to proceed with four front teeth veneers. I haven’t smiled so much in ages. I am grateful & would recommend Thompson Dental to anyone.

Today was my second trip to Thompson Dental and from first contact with the lovely Jo (after hours), to having my emergency appointment and then follow up on the same day with Dr Michael Thompson, everything was outstanding (just like my first visit to this practice with the hygienist who was also great). Dr Thompson is the epitome of what I think an awesome dentist should be. Knowledgable, experienced, calm, polite, empathetic, need I say more? Amazing service - highly recommend

I'm on holiday and had failure of my root canal which lead to very painful toothache. I called Thompson's and they manage to give me a same day emergency appointment and gave me what I needed to ease the pain until I return home. Michael, the dentist, was very understanding and professional and the receptionists lovely. Would highly recommend.

The best dental professionals one could ask for. Being someone who used to be terrified of going to the Dentists, Thompson Dental has saved me from pains. Mike and Karen and everyone else are the best skilled and gentle practitioners. More than that, they are considerate too, always has the best interests of their patients at heart, treating us like family. Mike Thompson is quite simply the best dentist I have ever been to. My teeth were crowded and chipped, and Mike has put crowns in and done other magic to make them look straight again. Amazing tooth artistry! Mike is highly professional and I felt totally safe and comfortable at all times. I can’t recommend Mike highly enough, as well as Karen and Grace the excellent hygienists, and all the lovely staff at Thompson Dental.

Have been going to Thompson Dental since I was a kid but have only now thought to write a review! The team are honestly the best, so easy to communicate with (in terms of both response time and generally) and all the dental staff are super friendly, personable and do the job really well. Would highly recommend.

I'm not a big reviewer but Thompson Dental are wonderful. I was frantically calling every after hour dentist I could find on Google trying to make an urgent appointment, most didn't even call me back or couldn't help, but even though they had just closed they still took the time to give me a phone consultation and write me a prescription. They clearly genuinely care about their patients which can be hard to come by.

Dr Mike Thompson and all staff are really good. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend Dr Mike Thompson who replaced all my amalgams absolutely pain free and meticulously cleaned my teeth when traveling in New Zealand. Mike is friendly, gentle and thorough, by far the best dentist I have ever been to (and I have been to many).

They are very welcoming. Mike, Jo and Karen and the rest of the staff explain the processes thoroughly. I have been going there for approx 45 years and started with Philip Chong. Always enjoy my visits, as I know that they want me to have healthy teeth and mouth.

Mike and his team are consummate professionals. Very skilled and knowledgeable and importantly for me they were calm and kind that eliminated any anxiety and meant my treatment was completely stress free. Quite honestly the best, through, honest and careful Hygienist and Dentists I have ever been too. My teeth have never felt more cleaner and between Michael and Sam the hygienist, I have never felt like my teeth have been in better hands. They have put me on a regime toward getting better dental health and I am very grateful.

 I recently visited Sam the hygienist. I have seen Sam in the past, and if it weren’t for her, my teeth may not be in the great shape they are now. I credit Sam with helping me to over come periodontal tooth disease. Sam is through but gentle, honest but kind, and I will go and see her again. Thanks Sam and thanks Thompson Dental.

 I recently visited Thompson Dental for some Botox with Michael. He made me feel very relaxed about the procedure which was fairly painless and over quickly. I am absolutely thrilled with the results and would highly recommend! I will be back for more!

Mike worked some serious magic on my 10 yr old's broken front teeth - to the extent that photographic evidence is now required to show that they were ever broken. I went to see the hygienist and dentist today. A great experience.. And that is saying something for a person who usually is petrified of going to the dentist!! Firstly I had my teeth cleaned and scaled, I have very sensitive teeth and gums.. And I told this to the lady Sam, and so instead of using the electric gear she did mostly everything by hand. It didn't hurt and was the best experience I have had so far in terms if this. Then I went to see my dentist (new, whom I have been with for a year so far) Mike Thompson. He was also so gentle and I felt really safe in his presence and under the work he did. I used to be so scared of going to the dentist before I found him. I used to tense up and nearly be in tears with fear and pain (as I have problem teeth with fractures from clenching at night while I sleep, so have had lots of past work done in my back teeth!) it used to be that I needed something from minor to major every time I went to the dentist. The first couple of thine I went I had to get repair to my fillings etc. but since then I have had no work done in over a year! His work is long lasting, and quite painless the way he has administered local anaesthetic, he sort of gets it right into the nerve so there is literally no time to feel any pain. So I just want to say thanks to the team there, no waiting for hours for my appointment either, and over all 5 stars for their service. Thanks you.
