A pure way to reduce my age lines?
Reduce Signs of Aging with Anti Wrinkle Injectable Muscle Relaxants
Injectable muscle relaxants, are nerve blocking treatments that are successfully used for the therapeutic relief of facial rejuvenation (anti-wrinkle), bruxism (teeth grinding), migraines and other muscular related disorders. These are the same anti-wrinkle injections commonly used by dermatologists and cosmetic professionals to reduced the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Therapeutic treatments at our practice
Older Skin Rejuvenation
Facial Rejuvenation focusses on undoing some of the effects ageing has had on our skin. The idea is to compensate for the loss of facial volume, support elastin function and increase collagen production. Overall skin rejuvenation treatments at our practice include a combination of injectable muscle relaxants and dermal fillers.
Younger Skin Prejuvenation
Prejuvenation is a preventative approach to reducing visible signs of aging. Prejuvenation treatments may keep the skin smooth as you age by preventing these grooves from being formed in the first place. Muscle relaxants injected into targeted muscles are able to block nerve signals that trigger the muscles to contract, preventing wrinkles from developing over time.
How does it work?
The injectable “toxins” block neuromuscular signals to nerves, these are the signals that cause muscles to contract. When tiny quantities are injected into targeted muscles it blocks these signals, causing the muscles to relax. These treatments effectively provide therapeutic relief of muscular related disorders such as teeth grinding and skin rejuvenation therapy that softens the the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
How long does it take to work
The nerve blockers usually begin working five to ten days after treatment.
According to a randomised, double blind study, the formulation used at our practice was found to work faster and last longer than similar anti-wrinkle treatments. The study showed that desirable effects were maintained for up to 4 months.
We use a scientifically formulated solution that contains no accessory proteins – this means that the body is less likely to develop antibodies to the product and become resistant over time, which has been the case with other anti-wrinkle treatments.
A recent study found that using anti-wrinkle therapy can help you appear to others as looking younger and healthier. Depending on the problem being treated, the effect may last three to four months. To maintain the effect, you’ll need regular follow-up injections.

How Anti-Wrinkle Injectables Work
Dynamic wrinkles are caused by muscle movement, such as those when you smile, laugh or squint. Common dynamic wrinkles include forehead lines and "crow’s feet" that form around your eyes. Tiny quantities of nerve blocking "toxins" are injected into these targeted muscles causing the muscles to relax. Relaxing the muscle activity can smooth out wrinkles to restore a more youthful appearance.
